Diploma
Clinical Hypnotherapy

The ICCH Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy is a professional standard qualification recognised globally

Our Hypnotherapy Training is accredited with the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council. Graduates of this course will be eligible to register with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).

Whilst many teach standard traditional hypnotherapy approaches, we also teach the latest psychological methodologies that are proven to bring about effective change for your clients.

With our unique combination of psychotherapy, and the latest NLP methodologies as taught by Dr Bandler’s International Master Trainers, all graduates discover a whole new dimension in Clinical Hypnotherapy

Whereas the ICCH Foundation Course teaches you everything you need to know about hypnosis and managing the trance state; the ICCH Diploma teaches you how to use hypnosis for treating  specific presenting problems. Students who have successfully completed the ICCH Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy are able to deal with most client problems that they may be faced with in their Clinical Hypnotherapy Practice.

And they know how to build a professional practice.

The Syllabus by Specialisation

Anxiety, Fears & Phobias

Today there are millions of people who suffer from Anxiety, Fear & Phobic disorders including panic disorder, social phobia, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and generalised anxiety disorder.

This module has been designed to give you the tools and techniques to effectively deal with clients who come to you wanting to get rid of their fears, phobias, and anxieties.

Addictions

Addiction is said to be an unhealthy dependency; most people think of addicts as people who are dependent on alcohol and or drugs.  Many believe that addicts are unhealthy down and outs.  This means many addicts will go unnoticed and many don’t believe that they have a problem and may be able to perform at a functional level. During this module we discuss various addictions and the possible triggers, why do people continue even when they know the damage it does, as well as teach you effective strategies to help them change their addictive behaviour.

Relationships

identify issues or problems in a relationship and find a way through those difficulties.  Teach your patients how to break free from old patterns of co dependant, victimised behaviours.

Strategies teaching self-awareness is key, so that your patients notice when buttons are being pressed and find a resourceful way to manage relationships differently.

Grief

Help your clients find the balance between processing their grief and utilising adaptive avoidance activities so that they may find experiences that provide temporary respite from the intensity of grief.

Teach them how to renegotiate their relationship with grief by creating a ‘Life Certificate’ that honors the lives of lost loved ones and solidifies an enduring emotional connection with the deceased.

Behaviourism

This module covers behavioural theories, exploring stimulus-response and how bad habits can be created and broken.

Looking at what motivates people to certain behaviours.

The main subject of this module is the Hypno Behavioural protocol looking at aversion versus confusion techniques and how to help people change their unwanted habits

Regression

This module explores the effects of regressive techniques.  As well as looking at timelines, we will also practice healing the inner child, learn how to help your patients overcome trauma as well reviewing time related experiences.

In addition you will experiment with past life regressions and future life progression.  You don’t have to believe in past lives for the techniques to work, we will explain the process and how people can find resolutions to problems that have been eluding them with this technique

Psycho Sexual Disorders & Fertility

Psychosexual and fertility disorders refers to dysfunctions for which there is no physical cause. They are usually anxiety based and are therefore considered performance anxieties. This module will ensure that you have a comprehensive understanding of these issues and how you can help your client/patient with a hypnotherapeutic approach

Weight & Food Issues

This module is all about issues with food; from strategies for helping your clients/patients to deal with food and weight issues to using hypnotic diet plans, and learning how to motivate people to stay with their new eating plan. You will learn how to install a hypnotic gastric band.

This module also teaches you how you can help people overcome bulimia and anorexia.

Hypnotic Anaesthesia

Hypnosis has been used as an anaesthesia for centuries; there are records of operations being completed throughout history using the power of the mind to reduce and alleviate pain.

Hypnotic Anaesthesia is still widely used today, for those who are allergic to chemical anaesthesia for example.

Over this module you will learn how to help your clients/patients deal with chronic pain as well as being trained in Tina Taylors successful strategy for helping women have a more comfortable birth experience.

Depression

Depression is a huge problem in today society and its one that is growing and more and more people are seeking other ways to deal with this so that they can either stop or avoid taking anti-depressants.

We explore the various theories surround depressive issues and how clinical hypnotherapy is highly effective in helping your clients/patients.
